  1. 1. Our time element was the flash back. Our space element was zooming in and out of the scene where I looked dead. I looked big then small.

    5. Yes and no. Yes because I like the general idea of the class and what the class does and teaches. no because its to stressful to have to do all the work by yourself. I wish the groups were set up for you instead of you being able to pick your own.

2.How to edit , make videos and what time elements are/what they stand for.
    3. I guess all of my fellow class mates and nice, friendly they all are.

    5. Yes, because I loved to shoot and be on camera.

    3. Some things I liked in this class was filming movies and editing them.

    4. Some things I did not like in this class was the test we had to take on the computer, the study guides did not have all the answers to the test on them, and for it to be better I think the test should have answers that are on the study guide.

the compositional element of our video was in the beginning of the video when we purposely had the camera sort of looking up at Isaiah when he answers the phone.

    3. Some of the features I enjoyed about this class were how much hands on experience we got to have . we are always out recording somewhere, or on the green screen or something. also, I loved that we had a very laid back class so it wasn’t too stressful, we were granted a lot of freedom , that I am , indeed, very thankful to have received.

4.I wouldn’t want to change this class at all it was my absolute favorite of all the courses I , myself, have taken sense I came to WVHS almost a year and a half ago . If I had to change anything at all it would definitely be the online test , I hate those things 🙂

    1. For our time element, we slowed down the scene where Dr. Masklamore fell out the window, and had a flashback as well.
For space, we filmed Masklamore stumbling near the window, showed him falling, and then used a birds eye shot of him on the ground, giving the illusion that he had actually fallen two stories.
For composition, during Erin’s betrayed in the first scene, we placed her on one side of the screen, and me and katelyn on the other, symbolizing the divide of “good and evil”

2.I learned how to speed up and slow down clips, how to create a double, and how to balance music and audio.

    3. I liked being able to come up with my own stories and determining what was the best way to film a certain scene. I also really enjoyed the story boarding process.

4.I didn’t really like the worksheets. It was important information, but the questions on the worksheets did not match the questions on the quiz.

    5. Yes, if I have room in my schedual. I think this class provided some valuable expirience in story boarding and script writing, which are both fields that I have considered going into.

1.We used the rule of thirds, slow motion, and we zoomed in on our faces along with putting the camera at a angle for the cornucopia scene to make it look bigger.
2.I have learned a lot including: cropping, several different angles, certain editing skills, the reason certain videos are. etc….
3.The freedom of it. We got to communicate and we were not constricted. Making the videos was a lot of fun and watching them as well.
4.Theres not much to hate we were free to do the work and turn it in, you gave us as much time as we needed and in the end we only failed if we didn’t try.
5.Yes, I learned tons of stuff and I want to continue to learn more, I eventually want to go to college and get a MFA and be a film maker this experience was a ton of fun and I can’t wait to get on the spill which I plan to do.

    4. I didn’t like some of the kids and the chapter test but all around it was my favorite class.
    5. Yes, I like making the videos.

  23. 1.) In our final project, we used many things. We used transitions and cuts to show that time had passed between events. We also used the rule of thirds and head room while shooting the video.

2.) One technique I learned was the idea of head and tails. A video head or tail is a short start or end to a recording where it’s almost setting the mood. It comes in handy mostly during the editing sequence. Another technique I learned is the leading line. That is when a certain object or movement leads the audience’s view to something on the screen.

3.) One of the things I really enjoyed about the class was the fact that I learned a lot of useful things if I ever wanted to get involved in the media field.

4.) One thing I wasn’t a big fan of was the chapter worksheets. It was a lot harder to just fill out the papers and then take a quiz. It would have been easier to learn as a class or to have more time to do them.

5.) I would consider being in another broadcasting class. It was a great experience creating videos and learning all these things. It was also great being with my favorite teacher of all time!! ((Cough Cough, wink wink)
