Students can now apply for the Pink Ribbon Bowl Scholarship. This scholarship is for students who have had a parent impacted by breast cancer. The deadline to apply is September 29th. For more information and application, see Mr. Jackson in the Guidance Office.
Juniors and Seniors, a representative from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville will be coming to talk to interested students on October 1st at 1:30. If you would like to hear some information about UTK, please sign up and get a pass from Mrs. DelBonis in Guidance by 3:00 on Tuesday, September 30.

The basketball cheerleaders are having a car wash at Tractor Supply this Saturday from 10:00-2:00. Come get your car washed and support the basketball cheerleaders!
Student discount tickets for Friday night’s game can be purchased in the bookkeeper’s office for $5.00. Tickets will be $6.00 at the gate.
Oceanography will have their first meeting today in the Media Center. All paperwork will be handed out then. Everyone is welcome to come hear what it’s all about.
Any Beta member interested in attending the Leadership Conference or the state convention needs to meet in Mrs. Fox’s room on Tuesday during CCRT time. You need to come by her room (G112) and get a pass prior to the meeting.
All Mu Alpha Theta members need to come to G109 to pick up notes from Monday’s meeting. These sheets will be outside the door. All members need to pick up this sheet regardless of attendance to that meeting.

This week the Junior Civitan Club will be selling carnations in WV colors for $3.00. Be sure and purchase some for your favorite teachers or friends. They will be sold outside the cafeteria or in the Guidance Office.
