Today’s Announcements – September 30, 2014


Students can now apply for the Pink Ribbon Bowl Scholarship. This scholarship is for students who have had a parent impacted by breast cancer. The deadline to apply is September 29th.  For more information and application, see Mr. Jackson in the Guidance Office.

If you would still like to order a class ring, Balfour will be back on campus this Friday during lunch.

LIFE group meets today at 1:30pm in the Faculty Conference Room.

Come out and support the Lady Mustang soccer team as they play Cleveland at 5:00 pm. Today will also be a time to honor the senior players.

Volley for a Cure tshirts will be sold this week until Thursday at lunch.  Get yours for $5.

Everyone come out and support the Lady Mustang Senior volleyball players this Wednesday at 6pm.

Students, if you need service hours and would like to help set up or clean up for the Pink Ribbon Bowl this Thursday, please see Mrs. Black in the main office.

Tickets are on sale in Mrs. Black’s office for the Pink Ribbon Bowl.  Advance tickets are $5.00 for adults and students.  Advance tickets for ages 4-12 are $3.00.  Tickets at the gate will be $7.00.  Children 3 and under are free.

Juniors and Seniors, a representative from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville will be coming to talk to interested students on October 1st at 1:30.  If you would like to hear some information about UTK, please sign up and get a pass from Mrs. DelBonis in Guidance by 3:00 on Tuesday, September 30.

Any Beta member interested in attending the Leadership Conference or the state convention needs to meet in Mrs. Fox’s room today during CCRT. You need to come by her room (G112) and get a pass prior to the meeting.

If you purchased a yearbook last year and would like a supplement, please come to G110 before or after class to pick one up.

Pink Ribbon Bowl t-shirts are on sale now in MCLA3, Ms. Brady’s room, and in the cafeteria during lunch.  Short sleeve are $10 and long sleeve are $15.  Shirts are available in both Navy and Pink.  Get yours today!

If you are 18 years old and would like to register to vote, someone will be in the cafeteria Wednesday during lunch to help you register.
