New football players, there will be workout this afternoon until 5:00pm. Workouts will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-5:00pm.
Juniors, please turn in your permission slips for “Catch the Fever” at Cleveland State by Wednesday (tomorrow) in guidance. Space is limited and this field trip is filling up fast! Don’t forget to turn in your permission slip to reserve your spot!
Any 10th or 11th grade student that would like to apply for the Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership group should pick up an application in the Guidance office. All applications are due back to Guidance by Wednesday, February 25 at 3pm.

If you have a field trip form to turn into Mrs. Tipton or Mr. Hood, please turn them in by this Friday, February 13. This is highly important to finalize everything for the field trip.
Walker Valley Cheerleading tryout packets are available in the Main Office. There will be a MANDATORY parent/candidate meeting for anyone wanting to tryout for the VARSITY SQUADS on Monday, March 2nd at 6:00 in the Media Center. Tryout packets MUST be picked up no later than Wednesday, February 25th.
Seniors, if you plan on attending TCAT of Athens and you have below a 19 on the ACT, you will need to take the Test of Adult Basic Education prior to being admitted. This test is mandatory and it is offered on March 9th at 4pm.

Art club members interested in tie dying stop by and sign up with Mrs. Russell. Due to the rescheduled ball game today, we will meet on Thursday, February 19. Sign up soon as there is limited space.
Beta Club Members: The Teens for Jeans 2015 service project has begun. Ask your friends and family to help you collect gently used blue jeans to donate to our local shelters. For every THREE pairs you donate, you will receive 1 service hour. Turn these in to your grade sponsor. You will also receive a $5 coupon to use at Aeropostale.
Attention Juniors: This Saturday, February 14 and Saturday, February 21, there will be an ACT Boot Camp here at Walker Valley in the media center from 8:00am-12:00noon. You must sign up in the main office or in G106 by Thursday, February 12. Space is limited to 60 participants for each session, so sign up today!
