Today’s Announcements – April 17, 2015

FBLA 2015-2016 officer applications are due on Friday, April 24th to Ms. Brady.

Due to the conditions of the Cleveland High School field, the Special Olympics has been postponed to Saturday, April 25th.  Please see Mrs. Hammer in Special Services if you have signed up or would still like to sign up to volunteer.

Wednesday, April 22, there will be an important meeting for all seniors at 9:45am in the auditorium.

This year’s prom theme “A Touch of Class” is in honor of our great seniors who have showed class all year.   The prom will be Saturday, May 2, at the Chattanooga Convention Center from 7:30-11:30 pm.  The best prom t-shirt ever will be given with the purchase of a ticket while supplies last. The cost is $40 per ticket and they will be on sale in the cafeteria April 28-May 1.  If your date does not attend Walker Valley, be sure and have a date approval from signed by Mr. Coggin before purchasing tickets.

This is a reminder that if you have 10 unexcused absences this year, including suspensions, you will not be able to attend prom.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Cretton in the attendance office.

If you are interested in running for SGA next year, applications will be available in Ms. Pickens room, CL5.

Attention Freshmen interested in taking Honors classes next year:  You may pick up an application in the Guidance office.  The application is due back to Guidance on April 30th.

The Junior Civitan Club is now accepting officer applications for next school year.  If you are interested in serving as an officer, please see Mrs. Patterson in the Guidance Office.
