For the safe and efficient operation of Walker Valley High School, students, faculty and staff are expected to wear their school-provided identification. Beginning on Wednesday (August 12th) any student who does not have his/her assigned identification when going to lunch will be given the option of waiting until students with proper identification have gone through the line (approximately 9-15 minutes after the start of their given lunch period) or he/she may choose to receive a sack lunch of a cheese sandwich, chips and a milk from the concession stand and enter the cafeteria at the same time as his/her lunch period. This process will apply to any student who does not have his/her assigned id on a lanyard around his/her neck when going to lunch. This process will speed the efficiency of the lunch line and allow properly-identified students to enjoy more social time with their peers.
