Today’s Announcements – August 18, 2015


Students, lockers will be issued today during lunch.  Please have your decision made which hall you want your locker to be in before you get in the line.  This will speed up the process.

Any female student who is interested in being a part of Anchor Club may pick up an application in the media center.  Applications are due back by September 2.

Students interested in the Speech and Debate Team should plan to attend a meeting on Monday, August 24 in G 107, Mrs. Manning’s room, from 3:30-4:30.

If you are interested in being a HOSA officer this year, please speak to a health science teacher no later than this Friday, August 21st.

Students, please do not put signs on any of the painted murals in the hallways or cafeteria.

Everyone come out and support the Lady Mustangs volleyball team tonight against Cleveland for our first home match. Freshman plays at 4:15, JV at 5:15, and Varsity at 6:15.  We will also be playing Soddy Daisy on Wednesday at Home.  We need a huge student section both nights for these big district matches.

Students interested in earning service hours for Beta Club and Circle of Champions may stop by Guidance to sign up to help at our home soccer games working the gate taking up money.  Please try to stop by soon.

There will be a meeting after school today for anyone interested in joining the wrestling team. If you have any questions see Coach Morris in G113.

Students, if you arrive in the morning before 8:00, you must enter through the front door, the bus ramp doors, or the gym lobby doors ONLY.  Do not gather at one of the other doors waiting for the bell to ring.

Students, if someone parks in your spot, you are to park in the back row of the gold or blue parking lot and come to the main office and report it.

The Under Armour store is open and will close at midnight on Thursday, August 20 on  Items ordered will be available for pick up at the Spirit Shack on September 11.

Any student who does not have his/her assigned ID when going to lunch will be given the option of waiting until students with proper identification have gone through the line (approximately 9-15 minutes after the start of their given lunch period) or he/she may choose to receive a sack lunch of a cheese sandwich, chips and a milk from the concession stand and enter the cafeteria at the same time as his/her lunch period.  This process will apply to any student who does not have his/her assigned ID on a lanyard around his/her neck when going to lunch.
