Friday’s WVHS vs. White Co. Football game has been moved to 8:00. Homecoming festivities will begin at 7:30. The Walker Valley Band will perform at halftime.
Anchor Club’s next meeting has been changed to Wednesday morning, October 21st at 7:40 a.m. in the auditorium.
Seniors, the TNPromise application deadline is November 2nd. To make sure you don’t miss this opportunity, the Guidance Department and Cleveland State Community College have set the following times to help you complete this application: October 20th and October 22nd during CCRT in the Media Center and October 28th during MAP in the Media Center. There will be staff available to sit down with you and walk you through the process. Your third block teachers will have passes available for the CCRT sessions. By completing the TNPromise application by the November 2nd deadline, your name will be entered into the drawing for a $25 iTunes gift card. There will be two winners selected. Prospect Fall Festival is this Saturday, October 17 from 3:00-6:00pm at the Greenway near the pavilion and park area across from Cleveland High School. Volunteer check is from 2:30 -2:45pm. The need volunteers to work carnival type games and/or concessions. If you are looking for service hours, call or text Michelle Augustine @ 242-8979.
Auditions for the musical “Mary Poppins” will be November 2, 4, and callbacks on the 5th. If you are interested in auditioning, please come to the choir room to get your audition material. There will be two help sessions on the 19th and 21st, during CCRT to learn the audition piece. If you need a pass to come to one of those sessions, please see Mrs. Oran, Mr. Work, Mrs. Barnes, or Mrs. Hunt. Please sign up for an audition time on the choir room door.
Guthrie Pumpkin Farm is looking for volunteers each Saturday and Sunday through October 31. If you are interested in getting service hours, please sign up with Mrs. Black in the main office. A parent permission form must be completed before you can volunteer.
Students wishing to participate in the 2015 Christmas Memories/Empty Stocking program must come by the media center and sign up before October 29th in order to attend the informational meeting which will be held on Monday, November 2 during CCRT.
The annual RAM JAM is this Friday, October 16 at North Lee Elementary. You can sign up in Guidance to volunteer and earn service hours. Volunteers should arrive at 4:30pm and you will finish by 9:00pm.

REMEMBER: The last day to turn in Oceanography Club info and dues is THIS FRIDAY (Oct. 16th). If dues are not paid, you will not be allowed to participate in field trips this year. Dues need to be given to Mrs. Swafford in room B214.
LIFE group meets every Tuesday during CCRT in the main office. If you would like to be a part of this group, you can get a pass from Mrs. Black in the main office.
Good news Walker Valley! The $200 early enrollment discount has been extended until October 31st for anyone interested in enrolling on the cross-cultural trip to Spain, Portugal and France in the summer of 2017. There will be an informational meeting after fall break for anyone who wasn’t able to attend the September meeting. The meeting will take place in Mrs. Picchiottino’s room, G212 on Tuesday, October 20th, directly after school at 3:45. Please see Mrs. Picchiottino for further details.
